Deep dive into mastering portraiture and art practice
Join Elena Bria for an exclusive art intensive – the only workshop she holds this year. Over 3 immersive days, you’ll focus on what matters most: You’ll be diving into figurative live portraiture under the guidance of Elena Bria, deepening your understanding of how to paint the human presence. Her approach is rooted in the classical tradition, but always with one eye on what it means to be an artist today.
Alongside the painting sessions, you’ll join group conversations and seminars on the realities of an art career. We’ll talk about approaching galleries, pricing your work, managing burnout, and building a practice that can sustain you – creatively and professionally.
Elena Bria began her artistic journey at 11, studying realist painting under Master Stanislav Babiuc in Chisinau before continuing at the Imperial Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg. Now based between Italy and Moldova, she paints exclusively from life, drawing inspiration from masters like Repin, Serov, Fechin, Zorn, Sorolla, and Sargent. Her work – and teaching – is guided by the belief that the artist is simply the channel through which nature expresses its form.

By far the best artist workshop experience I have ever had. The team really care about every participants success as an artist and go above and beyond to assist with our growth and create an open community. In no other workshop have I had the level of support before and after the workshop, sharing ideas/paintings/tips and tricks. Having the perspective of a gallery owner, artist, marketing specialist, business coach and artist material supplier has allowed to form my own path to success with their input and I feel I have all the tools to succeed. If you are wanting to be a professional artist this is the best step to grow in your career.

The Art Syndicate Team designed an amazing workshop. Every aspect of our week together was carefully planned to create a cohesive experience for an artist at any stage. The experience of meeting one of my favorite artists combined with gaining a community of artists from around the world was transformational for my artist growth. If you get a chance to participate in an Art Syndicate Zone workshop don’t pass it up!

Last November, I had the incredible opportunity to attend an art workshop in Setúbal, Portugal, hosted by the amazing @art.syndicate.zone and led by the inspiring @tania_rivilis. It was my first-ever art workshop-something I never expected to experience so soon. To put things into perspective, I had only started painting that March and signed up for the workshop in June. Needless to say, imposter syndrome hit hard once November came around. But it turned out to be the trip of a lifetime-one that pushed me to share more of my art journey, connect with incredible artists from all walks of life, and, most importantly, remind myself to have fun along the way.

I enjoyed every minute of Tania’s workshop, and it motivated me to do my own art and to do more experiments with it. Syndicate Team did a spotless job for us from talks, tour visits, place to stay, food and they were super friendly. I don’t have enough words to recommend it because you’ll love it!

The variety of the classes, with different professionals in their own domain.. Also The number of hours spent painting. The every day organized schedule. The pleasure I felt in all of you doing this workshop. It was all done in respecting the sensibilities of each individual, that can occur in having challenges as an artist . Also the restaurant owner the service the food and the fun we had. Also the little trip we took all together. For me it was perfect.

I just got back home after a week in Portugal and oh boy what a week it was.I had the pleasure to attend my very first art workshop with @art.syndicate.zone and the amazing @tania_rivilis (who is as wonderful as she is talented!). | finished three paintings in a week, a record for my overthinking perfectionist self lol, got to relax surrounded by beautiful nature and to spend time getting to know some amazing people. There's nothing like being surrounded by a tribe of wonderful fellow artists and to be honest I already miss it. Looking forward to the future as I'll be absorbing all the inspiration and lessons gained from the past week and putting more love into my artistic practice. Thank you to you all who are still here patiently waiting, and thank you Tania for an amazing experience!
